Vulcan Materials Company actively recruits at several colleges and universities throughout the United States. Our dedicated team of Vulcan representatives visits schools regularly for career fairs, information sessions, interviews and other events. Our Campus Recruitment Schedule offers more specific information on some of these visits. What do we look for in a college graduate? In addition to a candidate’s chosen academic major, we place a high value on academic achievement, community service, work experience and any professional achievements attained. All of these attributes help us decide whether a recent graduate is a good fit for a particular job.

What can we offer college students and graduates? We have several Internship Programs that give students an inside view of what it’s like to work for Vulcan on a full-time basis. These programs provide outstanding learning experiences in the summer months. We also offer Co-op Programs and internships through the INROADS program for additional educational enlightenment. Our Management Associate Development Program evaluates and trains entry-level new hires and transferees for management roles and our Operations Management Summer Intern Program brings students back every summer for ongoing experience in operations management.
